Key Responsibilities:
- Apply PCR expertise to Molecular Diagnostics.
- Translate user requirements into new products and product specifications.
- Responsible for the validation of experimental assays and the delivery of tailored solutions to global customers.
- Collaborate with scientists across Creative Biogene to ensure the launch of high-value products and services.
- Engage with clients to tackle technical and scientific requirements, apply problem-solving skills to meet challenges.
- Replicate and modify external methods with minimal technical information or support.
Basic Qualifications:
- M.S. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in PCR-based DNA detection biochemistry is a must.
- First-hand experience in designing and optimizing molecular diagnostic assays including PCR, qPCR RT-qPCR, and Isothermal amplification.
- Ability to extract DNA/RNA from different matrixes.
- Proven track record in the development of new products and services.
- Experience with lab automation would be a plus.
- Knowledge of multiple probe types such MGB, Scorpion, Molecular Beacon, HyBeacon.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to interact with clients, peers and across teams.
- Innovative mindset with a proactive approach to business cases.
- Ability to prioritize workload and to engage in multiple projects.
