Champagne Taq antibody is a monoclonal antibody against Taq enzyme, which can inhibit DNA polymerase activity when combined with Taq enzyme. Champagne Taq antibody has a very high affinity for Taq enzymes, and can still block the activity of Taq enzymes at 65 °C, so it can effectively inhibit primer dimers and non-specific amplification. Champagne Taq antibody can be inactivated by heating for 30 s at 95 ℃, completely releasing Taq enzyme activity, suitable for various Taq enzyme-based hot-start PCR and qPCR reactions. Unlike monoclonal antibodies produced by mouse ascites, Champagne Taq antibody is produced by large-scale suspension cell fermentation, which minimizes the residual of host antibodies and nucleic acids, so it has high purity and batch stability.
